    @joshdclarke,

    As promised, if you wanted to try installing this version, I think this might solve the issue. This removes the need for the nonce on the client side (since it might not make a whole lot of sense having a nonce on that call since it’s not private). Additionally, it will stop the process in the event the status code is cached, although I don’t foresee that being a problem in the future since we’re no longer requiring authentication.

    Install this version and wait a couple days to see if that’s good to go. If it is, I’ll go ahead and get this prepped for the next version of the plugin (2.4.0).

    After the holiday and long weekend, happy to report back that the constant refresh has not returned!

    However, I did attempt to test a requested immediate force refresh, and it didn’t seem to refresh the site.

    Here in this capture changed our front page/login page from our endscreen to the login screen, and then attempted a forced refresh and it did not refresh until I did so manually. I did notice the console says it would refresh, but it did not actually refresh: https://youtu.be/mrOGXga0oks

    Did confirm plugin I have installed is: Version 2.3.1-fix.1

    Hey @joshdclarke — sorry for the miscommunication. That version wouldn’t actually refresh. It would only log that it would normally intend to refresh. I was using it to see if, after a few days, we’d be able to replicate a scenario where the plugin would log “Site would refresh” multiple times in the browser console. Since it doesn’t appear to be doing that, I think I can go ahead and send over a version that does actually refresh pages.

    This version reenables the ability for a page to refresh. Notably, you can continue to use this version until the fix that it contains is publically released as part of 2.4.0. You’ll just get a prompt to update once it’s released.

    Hey @joshdclarke – just following up, did this last version fix the issue for you? Are you able to initiate a refresh like normal?

    Hey Jordan,

    Happy to report after installing the new version and refreshing manually, and monitoring over the last week, the continual refresh has not persisted, and manual refreshes are working as expected!

    Perfect, that’s great! I went ahead and included this fix as part of the 2.4.0 public release so feel free to update to that version (instead of using the pre-production version I sent over) and you should be all good to go. Thanks again for all your willingness to troubleshoot. If that’s it for now, I’ll go ahead and close out this support request. If anything else comes up, feel free to let me know!
