Contextual Search for Auto Inserted Units

  • Hi,

    Great plugin, I’m very pleased with it so far.

    I do have a question though and I think the ability exists, I’m just not sure where to look.

    Is there a way to apply the contextual search option (searches amazon based on the post content) to an auto-inserted unit?

    Basically what i’m trying to achieve are contextual auto links that use the template I’ve built for them. I’d rather not use a sidebar widget for this.

    Hi,

    Glad you like it.

    To generate contextual product links is only supported with the widget at the moment. An auto-insert item can be defined only with units. So what you are asking is not possible at the moment, sorry.

    To make it possible, a new unit type for contextual search needs to be introduced. While I add the idea to my to-do list, if you need this soon, email me via the contact form. We can talk about it.
