I have a table – imported from google sheets. One column of my table keeps appearing blank. When I go into fix the settings the check mark is “off” I check it “on,” save and test it. It disappears again. I go back into settings and its unchecked again. I have tried several things, all failed. Please help!

  • I have the same issue: some of my (selected) columns show no data in ninjatable (although there is data there in the Google source sheet).
Similarly, I also notice that some data columns are mysteriously ‘unchecking’ themselves in WP ninja config.
Is this a bug?? It seems to be a serious bug, unless I’ve missed something?
Have you had any luck with this issue yet triagecancer?

@alcain I have not been able to resolve this issue. I thought maybe it was something in formatting of google sheets so I cleared all of that and reformatted. The same column is still disappearing. I did just submit a ticket with Ninjatable and they have been very responsive in the past. Ill let you know if I can find a solution!

I have had a reply from NinjaTables which has fixed the bug for me:

“Make sure that there is no space in the google sheet table heading. If the heading of the google sheet contains any space the data won’t import to the table.”

I checked my Google sheet and I did indeed have a space after the column header name. I don’t think this should really cause the data import to fail, but it is now fixed for me. Check your column heading names and be ready to make a simple backspace if you see a space after the heading name. Multiple words separated by spaces are ok, but not a final space character!

Hope the fix works for you?!
