Content will not display as bold

  • I’ve specified Google fonts for all of the font options (mostly variants of Roboto), but I’m noticing that bold text (<b> & <strong> tags) doesn’t display any differently from regular text. Altering the CSS font-weight of a selected element in the Chrome Inspector to any setting I tried (100, 400, 700, 900, bolder) fails to change the appearance of the text at all.

    My title font is being loaded in multiple weights and styles. Why isn’t the body font?
