content width varies

    Hi, Our simple site in development has the default template selected/ forced for all pages & posts (in Customize > Gen Options), but the content / block widths vary on different pages. How to fix??

    We prefer and want the narrow, centered default content setting which looks great on different devices. Even w the default template, some pages place the content across the full width!-yikes. Am using the new block editor, only few plugins, and a cover template.

    There is no “Gen Options” under the Twenty Twenty theme’s customizer.

    Are you using a different theme? If so, please post in that theme’s support forum.

    If not, what plugin is providing that?

    Yep you’re right; it’s the Options for TwentyTwenty plugin (I disabled & checked). Am already in discussion on that forum.
    Will the Twenty Twenty theme be adding basic features like Header, Nav menu, and Footer options in the future?? or will it stay a basic structure which then requires scripting (and/or plugin) knowledge & modifications?

    It’s important to note though that the Twenty* default themes are not intended to be flashy or feature-packed and never will be, they’re always designed with 2 goals in mind:

    1. Be a simple starting point for anyone who’s new to WordPress.

    2. Highlight the major features introduced to WordPress since the last Twenty* default theme’s release.
