Hi guys, hope you can help me:

I have created a login page that redirects to an account page after login, which leads to the user page via [client-portal].
If logout is pressed on user page, the user ends up back on the start page. So far so good.
But if you press the back button in the browser, you get back to the user page and can see the content again. Only when you refresh the page it says “you must be logged in to view this content”.

Can I somehow prevent the user from seeing the content again after logging out and using the browsers going back button?

Thank you very much in advance! I’m sitting here for hours to find a solution…

    Kind regards
    Steffen

    Hi,

This is normal Browser functionality. The user will not see any new information that he hasn’t seen before. I guess you could “fix” this with javascript, but that will brake the back functionality, something users expect by default. Plus it can be ignored by simply disabling javascript in the browser.

Please note there is nothing insecure about this functionality.

    Best Regards
