Content still shown on search results

    The plugin is hiding the restricted content everywhere on my theme, including featured lists created by plugins, but not on search results, where the contents are still shown.

    The weird thing about is that the code that generates the post/page listing is the same everywhere (search results, featured lists, etc.) but with different results in this case.

  • There’s something different about the code. This is either in the theme or from a third-party plugin. There’s typically one of two problems:

    1) the_content() or the_excerpt() is not being called.

    2) Something’s overwriting the global post ID.

    Thank you Justin, that helped me figure it out.
    Im am running the excerpt through a few functions because im using Relevanssi plugin for the search feature. That was what was causing it.
