• Hi, newbie to WordPress so may be asking a simple question. We have the page (link provided) when viewed on mobile devices allows the viewer to slide the contacts list at the bottom of the page left to right so the table can be read.

    I’m looking to setup something like that in WordPress so that the reader can see a consistent nicely presented out set of contacts. I’m not worried whether we do it via a slider or any other method, just so that its lined up and nice on mobile. At the moment it looks terrible on my new WordPress site here https://alecs73.sg-host.com/contact/

    Any help would be appreciated. This is a really great support community btw.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • That’s not a slider or anything complicated.

    What they’ve done is set up a <div> containing element around the table and set that to have a CSS property for overflow to show anything that’s wider than that element. Below is an example (not tested…) of one way to do it.

    .mobile-slider {
        width: 100%;
        overflow-x: auto;
        overflow-y: visible;
    }
    <div class="mobile-slider">
      <table>
        <!-- All of the table goes in here... -->
      </table>
    </div>
