Hi! I have content shifting/jumping up after the homepage loads. You can have a look at it here: https://jellybolt.co

Let the homepage load and don’t scroll. You can see the content moving up after the page loads.

    How can I resolve this?

    Thanks!

    Hello there,

We had a look at your website. The layout shift is caused by the lazyloading of the image next to the text in the first section of your website. The lazyload is working as expected but since the image is in that first visible section you experience this little content shift.

To fix this you can add a custom class to that image and exclude it from the Media Optimization->Lazy Load media -> Exclude from Lazy Load and choose the class you have added to the image. After that purge the cache. This will stop the lazyloading for that image and the layout shift should be gone.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi @stoyangeorgiev,

Thanks for your response. I have followed your instructions and added a “skip-lazy” class to the image to exclude lazy loading. I’ve purged the cache and loaded the page in Incognito mode but the section still shifts.

    Any idea why?

    Thank you,
    Melvin

    Hello there @jellybolt,

It looks like you have added the class to the Elementor widget and not on the image. In order to fix this, you should add the class to the image itself.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan
