    Hi,

    I am trying to use the content restriction for logged-in users using shortcodes: [um_loggedin] and [/um_loggedin]

    But when I add the [/um_loggedin] shortcode, it takes it as a text and content restriction does not work. The page where I applied the shortcodes is open for all (not restricted)

    From your page HTML: <div class="elementor-shortcode">[/um_loggedin]</div>

    Can you try to remove the Elementor additional div tag.

    I am sorry, I dont know how to do it.

    @pravtiw

    https://elementor.com/help/how-to-use-shortcodes/

    1. Drag an Elementor Shortcode Widget to your page
    2. Enter your shortcode in the textbox area provided.
    3. [um_loggedin] Your page content to protect [/um_loggedin]

    Thanks. I am using it as described by you (using short-code widget).

    I wonder if the restriction works if there are multiple elements between [um_loggedin] and [/um_loggedin]

    For example, on my page after [um_loggedin] there is a header, a text block, a button and then the [/um_loggedin]

    @pravtiw

    Do you have all of the UM shortcode in one Elementor widget.

    Try to add a tag to declare begin and end for Elementor:

    [um_loggedin]<div> Your page content to protect </div>[/um_loggedin]

    I have the shortcodes in two separate widgets

    @pravtiw

    No, all of the shortcodes and the page content in one Elementor widget.
    Explains why you get the <div class="elementor-shortcode"> with the [/um_loggedin]
    The UM Shortcode with both [um_loggedin][/um_loggedin] in the same Elementor widget.

    Both the shortcodes and content (header, text box, button) are in the same elementor widget (column). See left part of the screenshot.

    Hello @pravtiw

    Sorry for the late answer. Have you solved this problem?
    I think the Elementor does not support our shortcode with 2 parts. Unfortunately, we can’t support third-party plugins. You could ask Elementor support about this.

    Thank you.
