Content Restriction by shortcode

Have you ever considered adding a shortcode method to handle content restriction?

I like how this plugin works at the page level, but a little more fine-grained control that a shortcode would provide would be useful. This would enable the building of a single page (a homepage, for example, or a user dashboard) where the content displayed depends on the user role. A site owner could have 2 or 3 blocks of content each wrapped in a user role specific shortcode.

This would make the plugin a little more comprehensive in how it displays and protects content.
