• We have recently installed the latest version of WP, but it seems that the content on the pages always remains with the text “Resolved” even when I set the Homepage to a static page. https://wp.sensorytoywarehouse.com/

I have tried to make the home page various random pages but it always remains with a page saying: “Resolved”

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

  • Hi @dovroc,

Have you tried to deactivate all the plugins, activate the Twenty Seventenn theme, and see if this Resolving message is still there?

    (@dovroc)

btw, this is from cpanel file manager which also holds two OpenCart sites. I hope I sent the correct details.

    Thanks again.

That’s not a WordPress .htaccess file.

    Thread Starter dovroc

    (@dovroc)

it turns out the site didn’t have one. I managed to create one but all it contains is this:

    # Created by Htaccess File Editor
    # BEGIN WordPress

    # END WordPress

Would you know where I can find the data the file needs to contain?

    Thread Starter dovroc

    (@dovroc)

Permissions for the htaccess file are set to 644.
“User” is set to have permission to read and write, but currently “execute” is not clicked.

I linked the codex article on WP’s .htaccess file, above. The file should be in the root of your wordpress site, the same directory with wp-config.php, etc.

    Thread Starter dovroc

    (@dovroc)

I have placed the file in the root of the site, and pasted in the data from the WP codex which I know works on other of my WP sites (different hosting company), but I get the same error.

Please contact your host; this may be some sort of server configuration problem.

    (@dovroc)

ok, thanks for your help with this!
