Content not updating to theme

  • I started developing content (pages, menus etc) using customization features. I can see all the content with the various pages, and it does show up when I’m within the customization section. However, when I click on “view my site” nothing is there except the site title and the theme “placeholder” content. I’m stuck and not sure what I’m doing wrong.

  • Do you have a caching plugin enabled? – If so, deactivate it or try deleting the cache.

    Have you added the pages to the correct menus? (The same as home)

    I did deactivate the caching plugin. I created menu using customization, and I can see the site content when I’m inside the customization. But, when I click on Appearance>Menus, my menu and pages don’t show up there. I’m using the Responsive theme, if that matters?

    This theme was installed through the host. I contacted them thinking there might be something broken between them and WordPress, but they were no help.
