CONTENT not showing on event page / page not showing

Hi!

I am working on an offline website in MAMP and created a child theme for twenty twentyfive template.

After installing EM, I noticed two things: the terms ‘index.php’ have web added to permalinks and the event list is not showing. I initially tried creating a separate site called Agenda, but I only get a ‘404 error’ on that page. I also tried loading the events page that EM has created, but that showed the word ‘contents’ and does not pull in the event I created for testing.

Only the EM plugin is active and I tried changing the theme from 25 to 24, but without success. I also tried in save mode, with only EM active and theme 22. I re-saved the permalinks both in WordPress and in EM, but I am still coming up empty.

Does anybody else have any suggestions what I may be missing here? Thanks in advance for your support! I appreciate it, as I have EM working on my old website from 2017 (www.odeon-maastricht.nl) and I would love to keep using it in the ‘modern’ version!
