Content not showing in pages

  • Hello, I am new to WP and was really excited when I successfully installed WPress and uploaded the theme without a problem,(no indication given that it had been incorrectly set up).
    However, when I activated the template, the page loads ok but the content is missing
    from the pages.
    Any suggestions??

    What exactly do you mean by “content”? What is supposed to be on your pages?

    the structure of the pages is there with some txt content and logo in place, but the other content such as slider banner and other images are missing.
    I’ll look at your suggested reading and see were that takes me.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
