Content Not Showing in All Content Section

UPDATE: I was able to get the feeds to update by placing them into NetNewsWire and importing the OPML file. I would still like to know if the above can be resolved as this is quite a few steps just to add a link at time. Thanks

If that is the case, it sounds like perhaps NetNewsWire resolved the URLs in a way that PressForward wasn’t able to. It would be very helpful if you could give us a list (or at least a few) of the feeds that were giving you a problem, that way I can test them myself and see if I can find the issue.

Actually Aram, I had a chance to go through all of my feeds and not many of them are updating after all. As you can see on the images linked below the column for last retrieved is either blank or many hours ago. I pended the top feed (Alltop) because it was duplicating some of the stories and I can’t figure out how to slow it down.

Any idea why its not working? I was planning to use the plugin pretty actively.

There’s no good way to prevent duplications from a site like Alltop which has their own URLs linking to the stories and often changes the titles.

We actually have some language confusion for the “Last Retrieved” column. What it indicates is the last time that an item was retrieved from the feed, not the last time the feed was checked. The main reason a feed may not retrieve items but be checked is because the items are to old, or the feed may be unreachable.

Let me try and load some of your feeds in my test system and see if I can spot the error before I try anything else.

Ok that makes sense for Alltop. I will probably parse their site for data manually (or add the individual streams from each site).

Let me know what you find out on the other feeds. I would really like to use this plugin pretty extensively.

I removed the Alltop feed and added the individual sites and it seems like everything is updating fine! Thanks again for your help.
