Content not loading

  • I added a feed link, but the content does not load. My theme is BirdTIPS. Excepting the PressForward, I have other two active plugins – Akismet and Autoptimize. I wanted to debug this, but I do not understand instructions from wiki:

    You will also need to go into the base of your uploads directory at wp-includes/uploads and create the logfile with the name. pressforward.log.

    The file should be in the uploads directory, but not in the year or month folders.

    The uploads folder is in the wp-content folder, not in wp-includes.

    Good idea, but doesn’t work :(. I migrated to PressForward TurnKey Theme, I updated the WordPress to 4.2.3 version, I deactivated my plugins, but the content of feeds doesn’t load. The button Nominate this also doesn’t save anything.

    Hi Lurie-

    The instructions on our wiki need to be updated. To create the log you will need to log into your serve and in the wp-content/uploads folder create a file called pressforward.log. Inside the uploads directory there are typically year and month folders. The log file should not go inside of those.

    I’m not sure why this rss feed isn’t being retrieved. It would be helpful to have the output of your log file after its been created for a few hours. I’ve been testing with the rss feed and am not sure what the problem is. I will keep working on it.
