Content not in WordPress

  • Hello,
    My website is https://www.alchemytrainings.com and the page/tab called Blog shows content on it. When I am in wordpress I don’t see this content at all. Its blank in there. So I can’t delete it. I am writing my content in but it does not overswrite whats on the webpage. Please help.

    I am completely new to wordpress and the site was done by someone who wants to charge me a bomb for the blog page.

  • You can think of WordPress as having static pages (editable in the Pages menu) and dynamic or archive pages, that aggregate content. The blog page aggregates the most recent posts in the Post content type. To add a new post, go to Posts > Add New. To edit existing posts, just click on Posts.

    If you don’t want a page that lists all your posts, go into Settings > Reading and where it says “Posts Page” unselect the Blog page. This will revert the page Blog back to a static page.
