OK, before activating Dreamspeed CDN and utilizing DreamObjects, the links on my site looked like this:

a href=”https://forestproductivitycoop.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Albaugh-JM-et-al-2014-Agrofor-Syst-SG-under-shade.pdf”

Now they look like this:
a href=”2014/12/Albaugh-JM-et-al-2014-Agrofor-Syst-SG-under-shade.pdf”

When clicking on the links, we now get a 404 error and all of the images in the site are blank.

The file in the above link is here and works:
https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Albaugh-JM-et-al-2014-Agrofor-Syst-SG-under-shade.pdf (and still on the original server)

In the Media Library all of the content begins with https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/

I migrated the content using the Migrate Existing Files option.

I checked:
-serve files from dream.io
-copy files to DreamSpeed as they are uploaded to the Media Library
-point file URLs to DreamSpeed/DNS Alias for files that have been copied to S3

On Dreamhost, the bucket settings are set to public, the Use CDN box is checked and CDN support is on.

I am not using Cloudfare.

So, all of the links in the posts and pages were edited but do not work – how do I fix this?

Wow. Okay THAT is weird.

For some reason the search/replace failed. Not sure why it came up with a blankness there.

Running these commands via the command line should fix it:

wp search-replace 'href="20' 'href="https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/20' fm_posts

wp search-replace 'src="20' 'src="https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/20' fm_posts
```
If you’re not sure how, I can do that for you since you’re hosting on DreamHost.

It looks like all your images didn’t get copied up to CDN.

That image is not there in its resized form.

https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/LA-Euc-Meeting.jpg exists BUT!!!

I reset everything to your local domain – forestproductivitycoop.net – instead of fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io

https://fpcstorage.objects.cdn.dream.io/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/growthrings_140.jpg fails and https://forestproductivitycoop.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/growthrings_140.jpg works….

Did you copy everything over from BlueHost?

So, some of the resized images don’t exist. That’s weird. Any ideas on how to fix that?

We copied everything over from Bluehost about a year ago.

I noticed that the bucket in DreamObjects only has folders for January through April in the 2014 directory (/2014/01, /2014/02 etc.). But the Dreamhost server I migrated them from has files in every month of 2014. Do you think I should empty the bucket and re-migrate the uploads folder? Also, I thought all of the content was supposed to go into /2015/01/

Part of it is that some of your images aren’t on your DreamHost server.

That’s being called but it doesn’t exist, so I’m not entirely sure WHY it’s being called at all.

https://forestproductivitycoop.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/FPC-Annual-Meeting.jpg isn’t there either.

Thanks for your help. Fortunately this site doesn’t have many images and I may re-upload them via the Media Library. Then, try again after a full backup.
