• I think I know the answer to this, but it is safe to say that WP is a Content Management System and can be handled by the average user and for future site modification is pretty easy to use?

  • I believe so. You’d have to define though what an “average user” is.

    Depending on what you want to accomplish, it might take some reading, but for all intents and purposes, it’s a great lightweight CMS, IMHO.

    I’d suggest that it’s very safe to assume that WP is a fully functional CMS for most general website uses. Although it’s fairly “lightweight” compared to some of the others, that’s precisely what makes it great for a lot of websites: it offers the basic CMS functionality without a high learning curve for content managers.
