Content is not protected in log-in from the page source

  • Hello,
    I have a questions and a concern.

    I notice that registered members can grab the url from the file you give away from the page source when they are log in.

    When you give a way a pdf, video or other digital products, it is easy for then to grab the url of the source file from the source code.

    When they are log out the content is protected but when they are log in the source file is not protected and they can easily grab the URL from the page file source.

    Is there any way that we can protect all the files all the time?

    It will be all kind of files: MP4, MOV, PDF, PSD, JPG ext…

    Hi, sorry for not explaining myself better.

    What I meant to ask you is, how are you giving away your file? Are you using a plugin to control the download of the file or are you simply adding a link on the page for the member to download?

    Hi,

    It will be downloadable and the videos will be upload into wordpress to show it on the page. No Vimeo or YouTube.

    Hi, you will have to use a plugin to protect the source code. This plugin only protects the page or post content from public viewing when you protect the page or post.
