Hi Mikko, how are you doing?
I got a strange problem and I will be extremely thankful if you will find the time to help me ??

I managed to index custom fields (using the free Relevanssi’s version) but the results do not appear on the search results.

Furthermore, I manage to find the terms on the admin dashboard search, and I am able to find the terms on the debugging screen, but when I search using front, I can’t get the desired results.

    Search results ref: https://pastebin.com/dMd1JPyf

    Details:
    – I got several ACF fields. As you can see, I am able to receive results at the frontend of the site, of the genes field, but not of the other_names field.
    – Both fields have been indexed by relevanssi. The admin search and relevanssi debugging proofing that.
    – Although Relevanssi indexed all as expected, seems like there is a filter that prevents from results to appear on front. It’s totally crazy!
    – Regarding the search results page I added in PasteBin – its a custom page. It’s not the default wp search page.
    – I have the latest plugin’s version, and I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin

I’ll appreciate any help you will be able to assist me.
    Thanks a lot, Mikko.
    Shlomi.

Where do you do the actual query that invokes Relevanssi? It’s not on the template. Where do you convert keyword to s and run the query? I’d like to see that. When you say it’s like there’s a filter, that’s quite possible, and seeing the query would help clear that out.

Thank you man for your help, you were totally right!!! The guys who created the theme constructed the results manually. They actually used your excellent plugin only for …. no idea what…. only the search box shortcode????? wtf….

Thank you man. Closing this thread! A Million thanks buddy. All the best with your plugin and kudos for your excellent work!
