Content in WordPress different from the website online, pages missing

    The content in my wordpress account is different from the website online.

    All my pages are gone, my posts are gone, my media library is empty, and a different theme is active. Basically it’s a completely different website that is build in WordPress. But if I go to the link ‘visit page’ on top, it shows me the website that should be online. That is the original one which I build last year. So I am lucky that online everybody still can see the right website. But it needs updating and I can’t do that now, because all the content in WordPress is gone.

    I did notice that the original website is build in a different WordPress account (different username). Not sure how the different accounts got mixed up. But how do I get access to the account if they are most likely linked to the same email address. Is that even possible? I tried to reset my password (I lost that) from the WordPress account that is connected to my original WordPress account but it automatically (because the same email address is connected) gives me a new password for the wordpress account that is completely empty.

    All suggestion to fix this are very much appreciated!

    It’s a www.remarpro.com account.
    It’s hosted by a company in the Netherlands: Antagonist. They work with Installatron / Direct Admin.

    You mentioned WordPress account. There is no account associated with websites on .org.

    www.remarpro.com sites are free standing web sites. If you have a problem with your host you need to contact them.

    I am confused by your question and comments.

    Sorry for the confusion. A couple of people have looked at it and nobody understands exactly why my pages are missing although the website is still online. Looks like my catch files are making sure the website is still running.

    Unfortunately nor me nor my host of the website has a back up when the pages were still there (mid August). Only solution now looks like I have to build the page from scratch again.
