Content in the POPUP and SEO
-
Hello,
I wonder what would happen if I put structured, SEO optimized content in a POPUP which is triggered only with a click of a link, by the visitor? Also, the text in the POPUP will be most of the content on the page. I’ve read somewhere that Google accepts this kind of “technique” now, in order to make a better mobile experience for the users. But the article also notes that Google will not consider this content as important as the other, instantly visible content on your page. Aka, it will crawl and maybe index it, maybe will help with the SERP but not as much as regular content.
Can I have your opinion about this?EDIT: Forgot to mention that the content in the container will be around 1500 words because now it is ~500.
P.S. The link is after the short slogan, which is located after the big H1 on the page.
