Content in posts and pages disappeared

  • All the text from the pages and posts on my site seems to have disappeared. It’s all still there on the backend when I log in, but doesn’t appear to anyone who visits.

    I don’t know what caused the problem — I didn’t change themes or add a plugin, it just happened overnight. I thought it might be an issue with an update, so I left it for a bit and kept applying the new updates, but the problem remains.

    My wordpress skills are moderate at best, and I’d really appreciate any help!

    (Theme is Twenty Twelve, if that makes a difference)

  • Can you first disable all plugins and check if the problem still persists?

    I did try that — went through one by one to see if any made a difference. Same problem persists.

    I want to change themes and then change them back again, but I’m worried I might lose some details in the meantime (backgrounds, etc). I’ve definitely run out of troubleshooting ideas.

    u can take backup and then try various troubleshooting ideas. If it doesn’t work out, you can always restore back to original.
