• I have been trying to add new pages to my website using the Gutenberg (Content Builder) Editor and the Classic Editor. Every single time the content I put into the page doesn’t save.

In Gutenberg: I change the title of the content block to what I want it to be and add my text content as per usual. When I click the update button and then go back to edit what’s in the block, the title reverts to “Title”, the slug reverts to “undefined”, and all of the content I’ve inserted reverts to “undefined”.

In Classic Editor (using both text and visual formats): I add all of my content as per usual and click “save draft” or “publish/update”. All of the content that I’ve inserted reverts to “undefined”.

I am using the latest version of WordPress (5.8.3), I have deleted cache, I have logged-out and logged-in using different user accounts, I have updated the PHP on my server to 7.4, I have gone through the process of deactivating and re-activating plug-ins one by one.

The fact that I can’t add pages to my website is infuriating. Please help.

    Hi there–

I would be super frustrated too! Let’s see if we can get you some help with this.

Are you able to share some screen grabs of the process you’re following to add Pages to the site? A tool like Imagur, Droplr or similar will let you share links to your grabs.

This will help diagnose the issue.

    Hang in there!
