    Hi there,
I’m wondering if a feature already exists in which you can show specific content only to jetpack subscribers. If they are not, prompt them to become one in order to download the content. Can Jetpack do that?

If not, I’d really appreciate a pointer to first steps of code snippets needed in a plugin for:
    – checking if the current user is a jetpack subscriber
    – showing a subscriber form if they are not

    Thanks

Hmm actually I guess it may not be possible since a user browsing the site isn’t connected with any particular subscription when they return at a later date anyway.

I might look at sending out another email when the user confirms their subscription.

After discovering that you can’t edit the “subscription confirmed” email at all, ie. the second email sent after the user agrees to follow, I’ve decided to abandon jetpack subscriptions.
Quite disappointing, and not a good use of time trying to find a solution.

    That’s correct.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s not something that’s been suggested before, but I took note of your feedback here:

We’ll consider adding that option in a future Jetpack release.
