    Hello,

I contact you because I started using the “Content Filter” Gutenberg block. However, I found out that if I don’t check “Allow Multiple Selections”, it doesn’t allow me to apply multiple categories to the same content section, which for me doesn’t make sense.

Could you fix that so we could apply multiple categories, even if we don’t check “allow multiple selections”?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

By the way, I have been testing this block more extensively, and I would have some suggestions, apart from the issue I mentioned above:

    • Add the possibility to change the rule behaviour of each category. For example, now it is by default a OR condition, but it would be great to be able to change it to a AND condition.
    • Add the possibility to change the order of appearance of the categories, because currently, we need to delete all the categories and rewrite everything.
    • Possibility to add an option to hide each content sub-block. Currently, we can only hide the contents wrote in the plugin at a global level.

    Hello,

Is there anybody available for the issue reported above?

Hi @blurry7923 ! Requiring “allow multiple selections” to be checked to enable use of multiple tags was deliberate. For each category, only one tag can be used at a time.

For changing the rule behavior of each category, we don’t have that option yet. However, our content filter block has a similar option that would apply to all categories.

The other two suggestions are something we may consider for a future version of the plugin. Changing the arrangement of the categories seems to be a good idea. For hiding content sub-blocks, we recommend using our content toggle and expand blocks for that purpose.

    Hi Alexis,

    Thanks for the reply.

I also noticed something: we cannot apply a style to the title of each category easily like applying a html tag, like you do on a content toggle. Therefore the title doesn’t look the same as the global article, and we need to do custom css just for that. An improvement can be done on that.

    Hi again @alexius08,

I was thinking on your answer about:

Requiring “allow multiple selections” to be checked to enable use of multiple tags was deliberate. For each category, only one tag can be used at a time.

I meant that you cannot apply multiple tags in the same Content Filter Entry, unless I check “allow multiple selections“. However, in my opinion, it is should be unrelated to this box check. Therefore, I need to copy paste my content in multiple Content Filter Entries. Could we change this behaviour on the Content Filter Entry side?

    Hello @alexius08 ,

After having some feedback, I need to implement a unique selection of tag (“allow multiple selections“ is unchecked). However, as by unchecking this, I cannot apply multiple tags for the same content entry filter. Thus I am copy pasting into another content entry filters, the same content so I can apply the filter I want.

Are you able to change at least this behaviour in a near future patch?

    Hello,

I get back to you following the issue I described the past few weeks. Here is a picture of what I want to describe -> [image]

I still don’t understand why it is not possible. What do you think about this problem?

    Best regards,

    Hello @imtiazrayhan ,

Do you have any news on that feature?

At the moment, I have to add a JS code to do what I want, but it is clearly not super great.

    Best regards,
