Content Egg appending a “-2” on the end of URLS

Oh, and I know it’s the plugin because I was able to work around it by replacing the plugin directory with one from a few weeks ago. The problem went away when I did so.

Give me link or screenshort. And check your Tracking ID settings.

I double-checked and can’t find any anomalies. My site is https://www.moarstuff.com.

If you look at several of the latest item URLs have the “-2” issue I mentioned. For example… https://www.moarstuff.com/bicycle-beer-carrier-2/

However, posts created (but not posted) before I updated, do not have the issue. Here is an example of that… https://www.moarstuff.com/one-minute-magnetic-hourglass/

Note that both of these were posted on the same day (just a few minutes apart) but, the hourglass post was created last week (before I updated).

Oh, something else I noticed. If I go to one of the affected URLs but take off the “-2” it will redirect to the “-2” version. I don’t have any manual redirects in place.

It looks like you have duplicate post slug. So wordpress adds “-2” in url. Why is this a problem?

Sorry, I can’t reproduce. Try to disable all plugins temporarily and see if it works.
