    Hello,

I’m using the latest version of WordPress and Sela. I’ve noticed that when the page originally loads (not always but sometimes) it will appear zoomed in, but when I check the browser zoom settings while it’s looking big, it actually says the normal 100%. If I refresh the page right after that, it will go back to displaying the content normally.

This is an issue because the logo looks blurry and the font in my content looks pretty big, and I wouldn’t want that to happen to people viewing the site. I’m thinking it might be a responsive issue? But I haven’t touched any of the responsive code.

Would someone be able to figure it out? My website is: https://www.postagesoapco.com/

If you don’t see it happening right away, click back and forth through the navigation links like “About”, “News”, etc. until it happens. It’s happened to me on my computer at home and at work, so I’m going to assume it’s a pretty consistent bug. I use Chrome in both computers, but noticed that it doesn’t happen on IE. Haven’t tested other browsers.

Hi there – I’d suggest using the Site Logo feature in Jetpack for your site logo instead of a Custom Header.

No particular module is needed, just activate Jetpack, head to the Customizer, and you’ll be able to upload a logo under Site Title, Tagline, and Logo.

The Custom Header is a background image and isn’t intended for logos. Let me know if this solves the issue.

On the other hand, since this is happening to your text as well perhaps this isn’t the culprit.

Could you try temporarily deactivating your plugins and see if the issue goes away? If it does, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. Let me know how it goes.

    Hi Kathryn,

Thanks so much for looking into my problem! I will try your suggestions and update the post with the outcome.

    It worked!

I actually tried both things you suggested. First I turned off all the plugins, and cleared my cache. That seemed to have worked. Then I reactivated woocommerce, and I believe that caused it to go back to acting weird, so I deactivated it, and then realized that it says at the top that sela doesn’t support woommerce or something like that? In any case even though the site seemed to be acting fine at that point, I installed jetpack and added the site logo and the site is acting as intended.

    Thank you so much!

I wanted to update this again.

I went back and tried activating woocommerce again and also the woocommerce product slider plugin and the site is still acting fine. I’m not sure what it was at this point. I wonder if it was a caching issue after all?

Anyway, just wanted to say that these plugins do work okay with this theme.

Glad everything is looking right again!

it says at the top that sela doesn’t support woommerce or something like that

There should be no problem using Sela with WooCommerce – as you later discovered. Could you let me know where you saw that so I can take a peek?
