If I have the header set to hide after 500px, the content sections appear behind the header. I have set the sections to overflow:default in case this was causing the issue however, the problem still exists.

Is there another option I can investigate to resolve this issue?

Hi, im sorry, I’m having trouble picturing exactly what’s happening. The hide just translates the header off screen. Is it behind the page content when it comes back?

If you have a link that would really help me figure this out.

    Thanks for responding.

The site is still in progress however, if you look at https://training.tynewaterdogtraining.co.uk/mulsanne/

You can see that the page look fine but when you scroll up, the slider image moves to behind the header. Also, if you click the contact us page, the section content is again behind the header.

If I disable sticky headers, the site is fine. The only setting I have enabled is to hide on scroll up after 500px.

This is exactly how this feature works. It hides on scroll down, after a set distance, then shows when scrolling up. If above the set distance, the header behaves as normal.

Both the plugin page and the plugin itself mention this in the description.

Sorry, I think you must understand what I mean. When you first open the page, the entire slider is displayed and when you scroll down the header disappears as expected, however, when you scroll back up, the header appears again but part of the slider is now hidden behind the header.
if you open the contact us page, you will see what I mean

    thanks.

I see that the contact page need more top padding to lower the page content past the header. This is how any transparent header works on any site. You can Google content behind sticky header.

If you use the transparent header option, there is a note saying extra padding is needed. If you use negative margin then that let’s the page content move up under the header. Either way this is just part of transparent headers in general.

You can either add padding to the top of any pages that need it, or make a separate header template that isn’t transparent/overlapping, and set it to display on the necessary pages.

Okay. Thanks for the explanation. I wasn’t aware that the headers worked in this way.
