Content Directory rename not appearing on BWPS

  • Hey everyone!

    I have created a fresh 2.5.1 install with the intentions of testing the interactions/conflicts of various security plugins.

    I installed BWPS first and activated all options I desired. One issue I encountered is that after renaming and saving the Directory Name from original “wp-content”, I still get a blue sentence telling me I have not renamed the directory and, on investigation, BWPS still shows the directory as “wp-content”. Checking the folder through FTP shows that the directory has indeed been renamed. It just seems like BWPS does not recognise the rename it performed??

    Just as a follow-up to this. It appears that the Hide Backend Options changes I made earlier today no longer function. Going to the renamed login page gives a “page not found” whilst good’ol wp-admin is functional.

    I have Bulletproof Security, WP Super Cache and Yoast all enabled. Could any of these be correcting the earlier renames performed by BWPS?
