Hi Dears,
I am trying to improve the site performance. I am using your fantastic plug-in, the free version, to better understand how it works. I see that more languages I have, less performane I have.

I see in the Page Speed option and “Combine images using CSS sprites” suboption I see the following, related with the flags:

Hi,

GTranslate is optimized for HTTP/2 protocol which doesn’t require combining images into one. GTmetrix doesn’t take that into account when scoring performance.

I can see that your website is using HTTP/2, so nothing to worry about.

If you are really worried, I would recommend using a different look in the language selector which doesn’t have flags. Each flag is about 700 bytes, which is nothing compared to other static objects on your website.
