Content-Control and PHP version when updating

    Older PHP versions on servers running current up-to-date of WordPress may not work with new versions of Content-Control. Several other plug-ins highlight the required PHP version prior to updating … and perhaps this should be done and would be helpful for others?

    @richc happy to help but I’m not sure I understand.

    Can you clarify? We tested for compatibility with PHP 5.6 – 8.2 which is what WP currently supports.

    further we have built in mechanism to show a notice on unsupported sites rather than throw errors.
