• I purchased a hosting site and created a wordpress website. It was running fine for a couple of months. The hosting server allows only one databse (mysql in my case). When I try to host another domain under the same account and try to install a wordpress into it to create another website, I unconsciously installed with the same database of the previous domain. After that time, when I try to load my previous Website, it is loading a new wordpress page, and when I try to login to the wordpress admin page as usuall, it is redirecting to a page saying “theNewDomainName.info” doesn’t exist. I am in a trouble, I lost my Website with in a minute. Help!!!!!!

  • Ask your hosts if they have a backup of your database.

They said they don’t provide such a backup service.

It shouldn’t have overwritten anything… You can have multiple, separate, installs on one DB, if you change the prefix in the wp-config.php file.

but the wp-admin URL should still work, unless you deleted it…
