• I have a site using WordPress 5.4.2 running Brigsby theme. When entering text in a content box I want to know how to format font without having to activate the Classic editor plug-in each time I want to edit font (eg. make bold, hyperlink to another site etc). Even if I activate the Classic editor, add my text, format accordingly, make live, then deactivate the classic editor so that I can go back to using Gutentor which I usually use, it often reverts the formatting I have put in place (eg. with my choice of bullets etc).

I can’t seem to find out how to do this, yet it is such a basic thing. What am I missing?! I am new to using this so appreciate if anyone who can help with this.

  • Those options are available in the block editor also.

Hello Joy, Thanks for your reply. I’m using WordPress for my web site so I’m using it for that rather than a blog. I’m not seeing the font editing/formatting options. Please can you let me know where I can access it? THanks

Did you read the page I linked? It explains it all better than I can.
If you want the exact formatting from Classic Editor, simply choose a Classic block instead of switching editors.
