Content background color change not working

I’m using the plugins Styles and Styles: TwentyFourteen with theme TwentyFourteen

Please see the linked page, the problem is the white area, which should be the same color as the tables and the stripe above the white content area (ie light orange). I have set all background areas to the light orange visible, but I cannot get rid of the white regardless of what I do. Deactivating Styles: TwentyFourteen did not help either. – Please help.
