• Hi, I’m working on a site that must have a hight level of compatibility with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The problem appears when I create a new post and switch between Visual/HTML tabs, some of the attributes like alt, description, etc dissappear.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?

    Thank you!

  • This could be related to the capability of your user role. The content of the post is run through a filter to remove things that are a security risk, before saving. The editor is known to remove some things when switching tabs, also. It is common to have to use the Text mode only if you want to keep it the way you entered it.

The admin role has unfiltered_HTML capability by default, but other roles do not.

Hi Joy, thank you for your answer.
This is not the problem, I tried with the Super admin user and WordPress continues doing that filter to the post content.
Is there a option/hook/etc to turn off this configuration?
