    Hey there,

I am building a site that hires kayaks. I am using Woocommerce and Elementor (free). The plugins I have are WooCommerce Square and WooCommerce bookings and appointments by pluginhive.

I have created ‘Bookable Products’ through Woocommerce, however, when I go to open the shop page, it come up with an error message “Sorry, the content area was not found on your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks

  • Hi @fdmarketing,

This issue seems specific to the Elementor plugin and not WooCommerce. As per the official Elementor documentation, WooCommerce shop pages?cannot currently be directly edited by Elementor.

WooCommerce shop pages?cannot currently be directly edited by Elementor. With Elementor Pro, however, you can create a new shop archive page to use in place of the default shop page.

Please reach out to Elementor support for further questions/clarifications.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @fdmarketing

    Thanks for reaching out!

In addition to what @kaavyaiyer replied above, since this is a third-party plugin which we don’t provide support for (please see our Support Policy), it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here.

All the best and hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon.
