I have been changing out the images in the content area as need to update my site and get it where I want it. Area 1 and 3 the image is cutoff, area 2 is perfect. I have matched the dimensions to area 2, check the formats, everything I can think of and still no luck. It is also very random. Can someone tell me what the recommended image size is for the 3 content areas?

    Please help!

  • I am having this issue too. It was happening a month ago too but I thought they would fix it.

I Have the same issue, I think it started with the update 1.1.5

Also it would be nice if the titles of the content areas would be clickable and not just the read more link below.

Looks like you’re not having the problem anymore. Great!

Please can you post a link to your site please so we can see the issue further?

Look forward to helping you further.

Thanks for your feedback! We can certainly consider updated for this. However, these are features of Minamaze Pro, so I can’t say for sure whether these would ever be added to Minamaze (free) or not.

Yes still having it – had to change themes because I couldn’t get it to work.

Sorry, still having the same problem. The problem is intermittent depending on what image I use. I need to use other images however the ones that are being used are working. If you notice area 1 and 3 are the same image. For some reason these images work, but most don’t. I would gladly upload the correct images so that you can see the issue.

That’s really odd. We can certainly take a look at what’s causing this strange behavior. Please can you setup an account for us in your WordPress admin area so we can test the theme files. If possible please also setup an FTP account.

Do not post the login details here as this is a public forum.

I am having the same problem. Can you look at mine as well? To set you up an account I need an email address.

We’re a nonprofit with no paid staff so this has been a challenge for us… I spent about 4 hours on the phone last night with our volunteer web guru… although he does not have any familiarity with WordPress or this template, we DID get it to work….. barely. It was strange.

What we did was find the dimensions of an image that WAS loading properly in the boxes (I think it was 242 x 162 or something) then we used photoshop to re-size the image we uploaded to that. It still did not work, so he went in and discovered that there were 15 copies of the same image (?!) all with the same name but different from what we uploaded. It seems the dimensions of the file were added to name of the file and so the template was not uploading it. Deleting all the files but one and changing the name to the correct one did not work. He had to change the name of all 15 image files uploaded to the name of the file we actually uploaded and it worked (?!!).

As a test I inserted one of the images we uploaded previously from the media area of wordpress (not the template customization menu for the template) and it worked.

So, it appears there is something going on in the template when you upload files though the Theme options> Homepage (content) > that changes the uploaded file name then creates about 15 copies of it.

While our “work around of going in and changing ll the file names works, it really eats up space with 15 copies of the image. Hopefully there is a fix for this. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem on my site, seems we’re quite a few now. Have you resolved the problem yet?
Can’t get it to work and now I’ve been forced to use images “that work” (not the ones I want), most doesn’t.

    Hello,

Please note this post is resolved. If you have an issue please follow forum rules and post a new issue.

However, image cropping is not an issue. It is a theme feature of Minamaze (free). Image cropping can only be disabled in Minamaze Pro.

Any images uploaded after Minamaze (free) has been activated will be cropped if used in the featured content area. This is a theme feature and not an issue, so there’s won’t be a ‘fix’ as this isn’t an issue.

Ok thanks. One more Q: what about 15 copies of the image? it’s really eat too much space on server :\ Is it bug or it’s not an issue too?
