We’re a nonprofit with no paid staff so this has been a challenge for us… I spent about 4 hours on the phone last night with our volunteer web guru… although he does not have any familiarity with WordPress or this template, we DID get it to work….. barely. It was strange.
What we did was find the dimensions of an image that WAS loading properly in the boxes (I think it was 242 x 162 or something) then we used photoshop to re-size the image we uploaded to that. It still did not work, so he went in and discovered that there were 15 copies of the same image (?!) all with the same name but different from what we uploaded. It seems the dimensions of the file were added to name of the file and so the template was not uploading it. Deleting all the files but one and changing the name to the correct one did not work. He had to change the name of all 15 image files uploaded to the name of the file we actually uploaded and it worked (?!!).
As a test I inserted one of the images we uploaded previously from the media area of wordpress (not the template customization menu for the template) and it worked.
So, it appears there is something going on in the template when you upload files though the Theme options> Homepage (content) > that changes the uploaded file name then creates about 15 copies of it.
While our “work around of going in and changing ll the file names works, it really eats up space with 15 copies of the image. Hopefully there is a fix for this. Hope this helps.
