Meaning I now stuck after updated without an option to add my contacts to day 0 of the autoresponders.

  • Hello @taco100,

The Contact Form Getresponse plugin does not handle the feature built in to control the autoresponder.

Please explain the issue further if you are using any add-on feature from the getresponse account or have made any modifications in the plugin file itself to get the feature, so that we could understand the issue further and debug further.

    Best Regards !!

    Hi
    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I’ll try:
    1. In my campaigns in Getresponse there are autoresponder messages (sent out automatically after subscribing).
    2. They send out in a specific sequence: Day 0 (=subscribing), Day 2 etc. in the way I have set it to be sent.
    3. As far as I know – the API should tell GR to which day should the new contact be added.
If it doesn’t tell – the contact is only being added to the campaign – but get no autoresponder messages at all.
    4. As my (and other users of the plugin) campaign rely only or mainly on autoresponders – we must get those contacts being added to ‘Day 0’ sequence automatically.
    5. In the old version of the plugin – all contacts where added automaticaly to ‘day 0’ and start getting the autoresponders.
    6. In the new ver. – it does send the contacts to GR, but doesn’t add them to ‘day 0’, hence plugin is now useless (for me and other need it).

As far as I know – API should tell GR to add the contacts to ‘day 0’ (it already did in former ver. isn’t it? cause it did work…)
I have now downgraded my plugin back to old ver. ?? – and waiting for a fix.

    Thanks again, great plugin!
    I use it a lot!

    O No
Now I notice that for two weeks after updated the plugin – contacts doesn’t get added to Getresponse at all!

It seems that after the 1.0.2 update – something was changed in the custom fields settings, and it’s working again only if I clear the setting in “Contact Form Value” and save the form (inc. the right ‘0’ cycle day this time, so thanks 4 that…).
    1. Please kindly advice on the issue ASAP, am I right?
    2. Please fix it back to what it was – that The custom fields are working with the manually GR field values that we’ve added before (and also if no value is added at all, it’s better working with no custom field, rather that not working at all).

    Thanks
    Tal

    Hello @taco100,

With the new update of the Contact Form 7 Getresponse plugin, the custom fields in the getresponse settings has been set to automatically list out according to the fields set in GR custom fields settings.

While we have tested with the fields the contacts are being added to the GR list on our side.

As the custom fields settings has been changed you will require to choose your desired custom field from the dropdown ( even if you have set the field manually before ) to accommodate with the changes and save your settings.

The GR fields should work correctly after saving the changes. Please check and verify the issue after the suggested steps above.

If you have any queries further, feel free to write to us.

    Best Regards !!

Hi, it looks like I have the same problem.
I have only one custom field but some accounts appear to be logged in GetResponse while others do not.
How do I figure out what the problem is?
I use WordPress 4.8 and the Contact Form 7 GetResponse Extension plugin version 1.0.2

    Thanks (sorry for my english)

    It’s pretty urgent. Thank you

    Hello @ctranquilli,

Please check the plugin settings with the steps provided earlier in the thread and see if it fixes the issue.

As the custom fields settings has been changed you will require to choose your desired custom field from the dropdown ( even if you have set the field manually before ) to accommodate with the changes and save your settings.

The GR fields should work correctly after saving the changes. Please check and verify the issue after the suggested steps above.

If the issue is not resolved, please write back to us so that we can debug further.

    Best Regards !!
