Contact Us Page – Can I Limit Posting Size?

    I am unsung the Contact Us page that comes with WordPress installation and (as expected) it attracts a fair amount of spam. For now I am able to deal with clean-up manually but it would be great if I could limit a number of characters allowed on this page. It seems to be unlimited by default and some spam feedback messages are very long.

    On the Admin side I see these Contact Us postings under Feedback->Form responses.

  • WordPress doesn’t come with a ‘contact us’ form (or any other forms) out-of-the-box, so that form has come from somewhere else. Most times it’s a theme, or a plugin that is installed for the theme.
