• I have been running tests on this plugin and ran into a situation that I think need to be addressed. We have selected the tickets and hit reserve. Then, filled out the contact information and hit enter. We received an error message that there was a problem with either an incorrect character or missing one (there was a space in the email address). We corrected the email address and hit reserve and it gave us the message that the confirmation email had been sent to our email address. Needless to say, we didn’t receive a confirmation email and in the sales report it shows the reservation being sent, but there is no contact information with it. Does that make sense? I think there needs to be an update of some kind to address this issue – maybe a final verification before it is sent on?

    Thanks,
    Ralph

Does anyone anywhere have any suggestions or thoughts on my problem? I like this plug-in, but will have to look somewhere else if I cannot get this issue solved. Thanks.

Hi, sorry that I missed this one, I’ve been using reservations for years now.
    This without any problem.

The key issue is that you have to make the fields in the database yourself.

If those fields doe not exist it can’t store the data.

Possibly this is something that needs to be addressed by Malcolm. Create a script or create default fields on installation.

Make sure all the necessary fields are in the usermeta table.
I’m talking about all the user fields that is NOT within the standard user data.
When These are created you can select these corresponding fields in the dropdown list of the reservation fields.
I think you can use a plug-in to add these. (I think I did it manually)

Not sure what you mean and/or getting at. The info doesn’t come through only if they make a mistake in entering info, get the error message and correct it and submit. If they enter their information correctly and hit submit, everything works the way it is supposed to. It’s almost as if that, when the submitter makes a mistake and corrects after receiving the error, the plugin still recognizes it as a valid submission but doesn’t pass the information on – even though a reservation is created, but doesn’t contain any information. And since there is no email address passed on, there is no email confirmation sent out. Does that make sense?

    Hi Ralph

For some reason, moderator Steven Stern (@sterndata) deleted this post yesterday thinking that it was asking for support on a new topic. Anyway, here it is again, and I hope it stays here for long enough for you to see it!

I believe it was fixed a couple of days ago with a new release, version 9.7.1.

Please update to this latest version and try again.

    Best regards,
    Graham

    Thanks Graham!

I appreciate the heads up and will try it out when I get some time to test it again.
