Contact Info Footer Widget disappeared

    Hello,
    I built a site on Ocean WP. Everything was working great.
    But, now the OceanWP Contact Info Footer Widget has disappeared from my install and I cannot figure out how to get it back…
    Scratching head bid time…
    Please help.

    Hello,

    Try to disable Ocean Extra plugin and enable it again. Can you tell me what is your PHP version? Update it if it is not PHP 7.

    Thanks so much for the suggestions.
    Ok, I disabled Ocean Extra (vr. 1.4.29) and re-enabled it: Did not fix.
    Rolled the OceanWP Theme back to Vr. 1.5.30: Did not Fix.
    Running version PHP 7.1 on this install.

    Noticed that the list of available widgets is reduced.
    Here is what I see now.

    Categories
    Custom HTML
    Elementor Library
    Gallery
    Image
    Meta
    Navigation Menu
    Pages
    Recent Comments
    Recent Posts
    RSS
    Search
    Tag Cloud
    Text

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
