Contact forms refuse to send

  • Hello all!

    I am using a highly customized version of Dusk to Dawn for a business site I’m building, and with two distinct plugins, I have been completely unable to get contact forms to submit emails as they are supposed to.

    I was wondering if this theme has any known issues with this, or if I just accidentally messed with some code that might have screwed this up for me. If anyone has any insight on this, it would be much appreciated!

  • Contact-form submissions normally aren’t related to the theme, but if you want to rule it out you can always try temporarily switching to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen. You may need to reset theme-specific settings and widgets, so it’s a good idea to make a note of them.

    I’d suggest posting in the forum for the plugins you’ve tried so that their developers can offer suggestions on why they’re not working. Email delivery via WordPress often relies on specific server settings, so sometimes you need to contact your host for assistance. The contact-form plugin developers may have some specific tips on that.
