Been using Cleantalk for a while and love it. Just recently, using the WPForms plugin, some of my customers were getting a ** forbidden** message when trying to send the form to me. Seems to be about half of them. Just certain emails. When trying to debug here, I started getting errors when using Contact 7 as well. If I turn off Contact 7 in advanced settings of Cleantalk, it works. (Not sure about wpforms yet since I changed that page to get my customers consistent access again.) Why some customers and how can I get this resolved without turning off contact protection. Thanks.

Hello, @avfadagio

Please make sure you are using the latest version of Anti-Spam. The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/update-wordpress

Then do the following:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

Clear all cache on your site.

Not completely. One of my test emails I use now works ok, but one of my customer’s emails that I am testing with still fails with a forbidden message.

I just looked in the Cleantalk logs and a lot of my customers are getting marked as spam. Can you check https://www.FloeterMusic.com and see why they are being blocked? Most of the emails from the US are valid customers.

We’ve added our scripts to exclusions in the WP Fastest Cache plugin and that fixed the issue, so I’m going to mark this thread as “resolved”.
