Contact Form Spam Solutions

  • We have a wordpress site with Contact 7 form plugin. However, we are getting a lot of spam emails, and we want to know how to improve this. The last time this happened, before I started working here, this was an indicator that our site was hacked. Someone had built a bunch of pages on our site. However ,this time, no pages exist and no other indicators (that I can see) show that we are being hacked currently. Yet, we are still getting 20 to 30 fake emails every morning. As of right now, we don’t have a “captcha” plugin for the contact form, I’m thinking that would help. Any other recommendations? Does anyone have a plugin they would suggest?
