Contact Form: Security?

  • So, I just installed contact form and already get an email with something along the lines of “EXPLOIT INJECY WSEDDEW” typed in the comments section of form

    Is there a way to safe guard the contact form or set up something to make it safe and a less target for me to get something?

  • I would imagine that whoever sent that is testing the form.
    Keep the email and comment at the dev’s blog?

    I dont know if they are testing… here is the email I got through the form:

    Your Name *uckman

    Phone number jerk

    Pet’s name Molly

    Breed Blammmer

    Services Deluxe Spa Package

    Date & Time Never

    Comments *SQL*____EXPLOIT INJECY WSEDDEW MUCHO DINERO

    Thanks will post at devs blog. Didnt know if anyone had a fix here or added anything to secure it

    hmm… looks like someone’s trying to get “exploit” info – not sure that a silly little contact form is the way, but maybe they were looking for something after they hit the “send” button?

    no clue – it’s just… weird.
