Contact Form Persistently Sending to Wrong Email
-
I am having a very persistent problem with my WordPress site persistently sending emails to an incorrect address.
Using Dupicator, I moved a WordPress site from its test host to its live address, https://www.jinas.co.nz . The site’s theme is Agriculture by CMS Masters. After moving the site, I updated the admin emails and contact emails. Now, the contact form emails are getting sent to the wrong address, my personal address, persistently.
In my personal inbox, the received emails I am getting note that they are being sent to the correct email address…in which case, no idea why they are bouncing to me.
To try and fix this I have:
? Checked that Contact Form 7 is compatible with the theme (it is, according to the theme developers)
? Checked the “To” address in Contact Form 7
? Removed all nonessential plugins (Revolution Slider, Contact Form 7, Easy Contact Form 7, and Custom Sidebar must stay live)
? Checked the Users’ contact information – all OK
? Checked the MySQL database – OK
? Downloaded all the WordPress files from the public_html directory and run a search for the incorrect email address
? Tried using Easy Contact Form (again, emails went to wrong address)
? Tried using the CMSMasters Contact Form Builder (this had the effect of sending the email off into the ether, but it never appeared in ANY destination mailbox)Some suggested fixes on this forum have referred to the contact.php file, but my theme, Agriculture, doesn’t have this.
Any help or suggestions are welcome!!! I have this still set up with Contact Form 7 because at least emails are coming through and can be forwarded.
