contact form not working on desktop… any

    Hi,
    Contact form is no longer sending mails, all it does is spinning thing.

    I have deactivated all plugins, but it has not worked at all.

    I have tried and it does work on ios. Strange thing

  • Well, I have even tried many different suggestions out there from rolling back the plugin to reinstalling an older version of WP but the form does not work. I am running WP 4.8.1 and CF7 4.8.1. I have even created a new page for the form to test off the grid as I have set up a mailto link on my contact page. The message received at the form submission in orange box is: There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later. I have even disabled the REST API as it was suggested as a solution to this issue to no avail.

    I have switched to a different contact form, which by the way is a lot faster and has pretty basic good enough settings.

    Can′t have a site without a contact form

    I’m having the same issue! I’ve tried everything I can think of, including removing the plugin and reinstalling it.

    I am using a similar plugin and it works better. I have lost so much time I just switched over.

    Hi all — this is a widely effective fix to the spinning forever issue:

    Try rolling back the plugin to 4.7.
    4.8 and 4.8.1 seem to have issues with certain site configurations.

    Is there any link to download 4.7 version?

    Yes, click ‘Developer’ tab on the plugin page. Or I recommend usings the plugin ‘WP Rollback’

    There is no such download for 4.7 on the plugin’s page

    .. or it is very hidden.

    Neither any rollback thing on the plugin.

    Sorry I have mis understood ,,, rollback it is actually a plugin in itself. Thought it was a feature of CF7.

    Hope CF7 plugin is updated and resolve this issue as a lot of people appear to be having.

    Yeah with the redesign of wp.org some things are now hidden. If WP Rollback plugin didn’t work for you, go here and at the bottom is a dropdown for downloading previous versions:

    The WP-rollback did worked for me, it was cool since I did not have to enter api keys again to CF7

    It was all siwft
